Educational Qualification

Engineer Trainees are placed in the executive E2 grade (IDA pattern). During the one-year training, a basic pay of Rs. 50,000/- per month is paid in the scale of Rs. 50,000–1,60,000. On successful completion of training, trainees are absorbed as Engineers in the pay scale of Rs. 60,000–1,80,000 with a starting basic of Rs. 60,000/-.
Over and above basic pay, employees draw Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance or company accommodation, Perks & Allowances (cafeteria approach), Performance Related Pay, Provident Fund, Gratuity, medical facilities for self and dependants, and subsidised canteen. Selection Process
Selection for Engineer Trainee posts is made through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by a Personal Interview.
