Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

The qualification differs from post to post. Broadly, as per the previous notification:

  • Junior Secretariat Assistant (LDC): Passed Class XII (Senior Secondary) from a recognised Board, with a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi and basic computer knowledge.
  • Stenographer Grade II: Passed Class XII from a recognised Board, along with the prescribed skill in shorthand and transcription.
  • Senior Secretariat Assistant (UDC): A Graduate degree with the required experience as an LDC/equivalent in a Government/autonomous body.
  • Assistant Section Officer: A Bachelor’s degree with the prescribed years of relevant secretariat/UDC experience.
